The program is built with a focus on the school counseling role, giving you the opportunity to establish a specialized skill set. As a student, you will complete a 100-hour practicum and 600-hour internship at a P-12 school near your community.

*The 72-credit Master of Arts in School Counseling program from the Morgridge College of Education is designed to adhere to the standards set by CACREP. Only CACREP has the authority to determine which programs do and do not meet their standards. The program plans to submit an application for CACREP accreditation in fall 2020.
